Lord of Expansion,
Stretch me beyond what I know.
Let discomfort be my invitation
To lean into something greater.
Break the box I’ve built,
The limits I’ve embraced,
The fears I’ve dressed as wisdom.
Growth requires surrender,
And I lay my comfort down.
I open my hands to transformation.
If the stretch aches,
Remind me it means I’m growing.
If the unfamiliar scares me,
Let courage rise in its place.
Help me embrace the stretch,
The awkward middle,
The fragile in-between.
Let my faith grow muscle,
My spirit grow wings,
My heart grow deeper roots.
I don’t want to stay small
In a world You’ve called me to change.
Stretch me, Lord
Until I look more like You.
Pray
