Comfort in Times of Anxiety

Lord, when anxiety takes hold of my heart, I come to You.

The worries of life threaten to overwhelm me,

But I know You are my peace.

You have promised to calm the storm within me.

Help me to release my fears into Your care.

I surrender my worries, knowing You are in control.

Fill my heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Help me to breathe deeply and trust in Your timing.

You are bigger than any of my fears,

And You will carry me through this.

When my mind races, remind me to focus on You.

Help me to find quiet moments where I can be still in Your presence.

I trust that You will calm my anxious thoughts.

Thank You for Your perfect peace that surrounds me.

Help me to remember that I am never alone in my struggles.

You are my refuge and my strength,

A very present help in times of trouble.

Teach me to lean on You instead of my own understanding.

I trust that You are working all things for my good.

Lord, when I feel overwhelmed, help me remember to pray.

May Your peace settle over my heart,

And remind me that You are in control of all things.

I release my anxiety to You, knowing You are my comfort.

Thank You for being the calm in the chaos of my mind.

I trust in Your perfect love, which casts out all fear.

Help me to rest in Your arms, free from worry.
