For warm mugs in cold hands,
For cozy socks and worn-out Bibles,
For soft music and sunbeams through curtains.
These small things whisper Your name.
They remind me You’re near,
In moments that seem insignificant.
Thank You for laughter in the quiet,
For long hugs and short prayers,
For the unexpected kindness of strangers.
Thank You for meals shared,
And stories told again and again.
These are treasures I didn’t earn.
I’m learning that gratitude isn’t in grandeur.
It’s in the ordinary, too.
In the overlooked,
In the peaceful pause.
May I never rush past Your gifts.
Let me linger in thanks.
Help me live eyes wide open,
Ready to see what You’re always giving.
Because in small things, I meet a big God.
And for that, I say thank You.
In Your name, I pray. Amen.
Gratitude

Pray
